Reverse-Engineering a $5M Launch for 2023


I’m not going to tell you to write out your goals, then scurry off to create a vision
board when it comes to setting goals.

I did something completely different this year that is going to help me hit my $5M
launch goal and I want you to give it a try.

See, I got lazy in 2022.

After I blew up in 2020 & 2021, I thought, “now I can take a
break”, so I laid back this year.

And I want to change that in 2023.

So, I’ve started now because I don’t want to wait until the first of the year to try to put these habits in place.

I want to be already IN THE GROOVE when the time comes!

The In-Between

That gap between where you are now and where you want to be is what I call the

It’s the hard work, the minutiae, the details that can get us down.

I have a solution for that.

As you go through this process, you will have a lot of emotions & feelings come up.

You’re going to be pissed, feel sad, defeated.

You’re going to think “I suck” because 2022 sucked.

Then? You might even want to quit.

Take a breath.

What happened in the past is in the past. It does not matter.

We do, however, have to acknowledge what we did and recognize it so we can
move forward.

That in mind, let’s get going…

How to Reverse-Engineer Your 2023 Goals For Accelerated Results

1. Targets

What’s your target?

How much money do you want to make gross for the year?

How much for each quarter?

How much for each month?

How much you want to make each week?

How much for each day?

Take your total and do the math to find out the target number for each.

That’s our FOCUS.

This tells us where we want to go because clarity is a fabulous

When you’re clear, you can make BIG moves.

How You’re Going To Hit Those Targets

I was invited to Grant Cardone’s office with 20-30 other 7-figure owners from across
all kinds of industries.

There I was, sitting in a room with a woman who sold ALMOST
a billion dollars in real estate.

(She missed her target by only $50M. By only $50M. 😑)

And I was freaking out…in a great way.

During our tour, I’m in there, scouting out the place, taking notes for where I want to
go and I see something on the walls that made me go, “Hmmm…”.

He had boards lining the walls that tracked not only sales and conversions…but

My mind was blown.

The gap between where you are and where you want to be.

That got me thinking,

“I don’t have that.I just write down how much I want to make or how many courses I want to sell or how many leaders I add to my network
marketing team.”

And I don’t want to do that anymore.

I want this.

I want to celebrate
all the in-betweens…not just in my business, but with my kids, too.

I mean, I’m used to celebrating my wins, but I’d never thought about tracking DAILY
wins as small as a lead or a like.

This is a massive game-changer.

We have to learn how to celebrate the in-between because the in-between is
what is going to keep us going to the target.

2. Activity

What is the activity that goes with the in-between?





New leaders?

How many brick-ranks per year/quarter/monthly/weekly/daily?

Self-assessment: Have your actions and activities in the past lined up to meet the
goals you had set? I’m thinking maybe not. Because you want a million-dollar
business but you have a $5 marketing plan.

What are the ACTIONS you need to take to take your business to the level you really
want it to be?

Sell more courses?

Meet more people?

Get more people into your groups?

Run more ads?

Show up more consistently in your marketing?

Do more 333’s?

More ATM’s?
Get on more stages?

Look at what you did and now think about what you need to do differently in 2023.

3. Plan

What’s the plan behind the activity?
How many meetings a year/quarter/month/week/day?
How many Zooms?
How many people are you ATMing?

What are you going to do inside those groups to drive the leads?
To drive the reach-outs?
To drive the recruits?
To drive the sales?

To help your new leaders?
What are the challenges?
What are the campaigns?
What are the giveaways?

What are the raffles?

Note: To be clear…you do NOT need to plan all of this out to be successful. You can be successful without doing all of this. But…your success will be larger and more sustainable


You want a million-dollar business, but if you go to a bank and say, “I’m going to post
every day about my business on social media, you should loan me a million dollars.”

They are not even going to give you ONE dollar.

Some of you are putting all your eggs into posting on social media, you have no
what your target is.

You have no idea what the activity looks like.

You have no idea what the plan is behind the activity.

And you’re treating your business like you have a $5 marketing plan.

(Yes, this is my new reminder that what we’ve done is NOT going to be what we DO to hit that $5M launch goal, mkay?? Get used to it, Boo!)



If you are in business, you should be braindumping and tracking on a whiteboard.

I have tracked how many leads I need to get for customers and for recruits for this year in order to get where I need to be.

I have an activity plan. I know what I need to do to hit my 2023 goals and they are ALWAYS in my face.

4. Sacrifice

I know what I need to sacrifice in order to get my target.

Some of you are going to be like, “I don’t have to sacrifice anything.” Cool!

Then you have a really small goal and that’s cool if that makes you happy.

But those of you talking about making this big money with commas in it, there’s going to have to be

I lost a lot of friends because of sacrifice. But now I can do things now that they can’t.

Here’s the last thing you’re going to do:

1. Rate your 2022, 1-10, did you sacrifice for what you could have
2. When it came to your activity, 1-10, did you
3. When it came to the plan, 1-10, did you

Have that on a piece of paper next to your reverse engineered goals and I want you
to keep that in front of your face every single day so you remind yourself of what you don’t want to repeat for 2022.
